Dr Julia Gasper
Dr Julia Gasper is an independent academic who specialises in early modern literature. Her D.Phil. thesis – a study of the role of Protestantism in the work of Thomas Dekker – became her first book, The Dragon and the Dove: The Plays of Thomas Dekker. She has also written books on eighteenth-century European history, on Theodore of Corsica and the Jean-Baptiste de Boyer, Marquis d'Argens.
