Myles Allen and Chris Whitty

Many Congratulations to Gresham Professors Myles Allen and Sir Chris Whitty, who have been elected as Fellows of the Royal Society.

They join the ranks of Newton, Darwin, Einstein, and early Gresham Professor, Sir Christopher Wren; indeed, the Society held its first ever meeting at Gresham College in November 1660, after one of Wren's lectures.

Gresham Provost Martin Elliott said: “The election of Professors Allen and Whitty cements their standing as outstanding, scientific researchers and communicators.

“Their contributions to the Gresham programme are likewise exceptional and we are looking forward to their 2023-24 series’”
